A proud dad?
This weekend my son Roan had his first trial for Blackpool Football Club.
I was stood on the touch line watching my 9 year old son play and I couldn't help thinking how proud I was - even in these early stages of the trial process I just felt elated that my son was playing for a division one, possibly even Premier League team.
It was really nice that his current manager, coach (Mike) and team secretary from Poulton Town F.C. came down to support him - thanks lads.
My other son Ben has also starting training with Blackpool F.C. and we are keeping our fingers crossed that he'll get his chance to show his skills in a match.
How good would that be, to have both sons playing professional football?
Well done sons, daddy is very proud no matter what happens!
