I am working as an intern at 2am designs to get to grips with the graphics side of marketing and advertising, as I am going to study graphics at sixth form in order to get an A level in it. I haven’t been involved with graphics before because it wasn’t available as a GCSE at my school so I was forced to take the closest thing to graphics that my school offered, which was art. Although I took art, a lot of my work was graphics based as I have been interested in graphics for a long time, from looking through graphics sketchbooks at A level standard and from doing my own research into it.

Advertising campaigns that are led by a brand give the consumer an opportunity to ‘get to know’ the brand. What they look like, what their values are as well as how they act. Think of it as getting to know a friend.

Sorry we haven't been updating this blog regularly. It may look as though we haven't been up to much in the past 11 months here at 2am Design. In fact it is quite the opposite.

We have been extremely busy here in the 2am Design office working on accounts for clients. Here at 2am it is very important for us to put our clients first and there hasn't been much spare time for blogging.

Last night was one of the proudest moments in my professional career, I attended a presentation evening at Blackpool Sixth Form College in which the college's new brand was unveiled to fireworks and rapturous applause.

This time last year...

This time last year... I was getting my end of year show ready. I was putting final touches on projects, sticking vinyl on exhibition walls and weighing out sweets to bag and label as gift for prospective employers to take home. But that was no big deal, I had months on briefs and had plenty of time to redo anything that wasn't up to my preferred standard. This was different...
